Different similarities.
Oxymoron of the day.
" Oh how I want to be different from the others. "
" Oh how I want to fit in with them."
Different.
Similar.
It's funny when we talk about being different
when we already are,
not realizing that Allah Almighty has already made each of us different,
from wealth,
appearance,
fate,
personality.
you name it.
it's just that we tend to forget.
Something we always take lightly relates to the issue,
which is to follow Rasulullah's (may peace be upon him) sunnah.
His ways.
See? Isn't it clear how we are instructed to be 'similar' to him; to follow his sunnah?
To settle the negative differences we have?
Some food for thought.
" We're busy trying to be different, forgetting that Rasulullah (may peace be upon him)
want's us to follow his steps. His ways. To be 'similar' to him, not different."
